Emanate places great emphasis on community input and overtime, feature requests and community voting will be powered by the EMT token and executed on the blockchain. For now, the development team will review the comments on this article and move the most popular requests into our backlog.

I would like to have the ability to create playlist of my favorite music and artists and share it outside the Emanate sphere to promote that dope music and attract new comers to the platform, monetizing playlists would be awesome as it will also empower listeners and make them earn from their playlist.

It would be great to have "discover" functionality on the platform for listeners. Based on the type of music you like listening to (genres) and your playlists on your profile, the system would randomly suggest a song that you as a user have not played yet, but it was uploaded in the last week/month etc... This would allow new songs/artists joining the platform to get noticed once the platform becomes huge..
Would be great if we can have 'embed' feature of music from Emanate to our blogs, websites, etc,,,
Leaving comments on artist music would be an awesome way to get instant feedback on music and encourage more engagement on the music
'Artists dashboard' with some analytics were we can have an overview on various data like total plays, per song, per user demographics, rank, most played tracks, earnings, etc.. and such also using various filters that can help us, artists, to strategize our music releases and production accordingly to the data intelligence that the dashboard can provide
I would like to be able to favourite a track so that I don't have to search through and find it next time.
Like to request an affiliate program, so we can place banner on various entertainment websites we might have whether as personal artists or a company with links to Emanate. If people sign up, then we get a share of profits from that. A lot of people have hubs already driving traffic to, so its easier to get traffic from an already credible site or a user base already engaging on another site then to hope they find it through other means.

when a song is playing like the "Live BlockConsole " can we get a instagram style live chat system so when 2 or more people are listening to the same song they can chat about the song ... like a listening party .....

I would like to have the option to actually make music ON Emanate, just so when I'm done I can instantly submit for review. There should be tools like music generators for various different genres, and all you are really required to do is input vocals or your own handmade instrumental tracks. Then there should be tools like automatic mixing and mastering right after you put in your own tracks.
I'm not expecting this feature to be done ASAP. But it would be nice if Emanate allows such feature.

One particular thing I would like to see in Emanate is I should also be able to earn EMT by listening to other musicians' music, not just earn EMT for people listening to mine. That way musicians' who haven't got a lot of plays won't have to listen to their own stuff, not to mention get their music played more often by others.
Also on a side note, free users should have a radio-only feature, whereas paid users can search for and listen to songs on demand.

This is the open source code for a heavy metal music generator people use to make all sorts of instrumentals with. It hasn't really been updated since August, though. So if you fork it, you can turn it into a music generator for all sorts of genres, not just metal/rock.
I also submitted this in Discord too, bit I figured I'd submit this here for official support.
Honestly Emanate should be its own Blockhain, instead of relying on EOS, because 1) Network congestion, 2) it's slightly better than TRON, but it's Dapps are still a little risky to try, and 3) People are already turned off by the requirement to "pay" for an EOS account.
Also with this new Blockhain comes more freedom to add what you wish to the potential new EMT token, such as how to earn it, and how to "mine" it.
I also would like to see MNX integration with other distribution services, such as DistroKid, TuneCore, RouteNote, InGrooves, CD Baby, and the one I have, Freshtunes. That way there won't be manual transition.
Think it would be cool if an artist could move which tracks of theirs are on the top of their profile and be able to list their other tracks in whatever order they want.
